Southland: The Complete First Season Comes to DVD on January.

Posted by Michal on November 10, 2009 | Filed under Media Alerts, Southland, TV News & Reviews | Browse the News Archives

Warner Home Video announces the January 26th DVD release of Southland – The Complete 1st Season: Uncensored. This 2-disc set running 308 minutes includes the episodes “Unknown Trouble” (Pilot), “Mozambique”, “See the Woman”, “Sally In The Alley”, “Two Gangs”, “Westside” and “Derailed”. All of these are presented in an uncensored form, per the title on the box.

We assume (and hope) that by “uncensored” this means the DVD would contain the same “expanded episode” versions that our old friend Michael Ausiello reported last week could be shown on the TNT cable network, now that they’ve picked up the series following NBC’s cancellation.

The cost for this release will be just $29.98 SRP. Video, per our retailer contacts, will be anamorphic widescreen, with audio in English Dolby. Bonus material will consist of a Featurette titled “Southland: Redefining the Cop Drama”. TVShowsOnDVD.com
